Community Enhancement

One of our core values is “Enhancing the communities we serve.” People's Credit Union is proud to be not just a trusted financial services provider, but a valued member of the community as well.

Employee Volunteerism

People’s Credit Union employees work hard to support our communities. Employees of the Credit Union volunteer their time year round to help support local not-for-profit organizations, along with getting to know our members a little better outside of our branches.

Investing in Our Community

As a community credit union we support many not-for-profit charitable agencies and organizations within the communities we serve through sponsorships and donations. For more information on our commitment to the communities we serve, you can view our Community Reinvestment Act Statement.

People Helping People

People's Credit Union is a member of the Cooperative Credit Union Association (CCUA) which represents credit unions in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Delaware. The credit unions of these four states have joined together to ensure that they can, individually and collectively, provide consumers with outstanding financial services.

The CCUA is, first and foremost, an advocate for its member credit unions. The most important role it plays is to represent the interests of credit unions before Congress and state legislatures, regulatory bodies and the public. Along with its legislative and regulatory initiatives and vigilance, advocacy at the CCUA also extends to education and building awareness among consumers about credit unions; what they are, the value they offer and the contributions they make within the communities they serve.

As part of that support, the CCUA launched a new consumer awareness campaign called Better Values. Better Banking. The campaign taps the power of social media engagement, member video testimonials, banner advertisements, radio commercials, and live events to tell the credit union story.
